Participants will make a simple pair of sterling silver hoop earrings for pierced ears. This will be a fun class to get acquainted with using a few jewelry tools. No experience is needed. The tools that will be used are needle-nose pliers, round-nosed pliers, mandrels and jewelry hammers. All materials and tools will be provided and everyone will take home a beautiful pair of handmade earrings. The class is limited to 10 participants. Those age 13 and older are welcome with a with a parent or guardian.

Instructor Leigh Ramirez lives in San Luis Obispo where she has been exhibiting her jewelry in art galleries and women’s clothing stores for 14 years. She participates in an annual county-wide Open Studios Art Show and teaches classes at local libraries. She will be in Bellevue visiting her sister and has offered to present this class to us.
